Products offered for sale by Voltobil are covered by a 3 (three)-year Voltobil warranty, without prejudice to the consumer rights arising from the relevant legislation.
If a different warranty period or special warranty condition applies to a specific product, this information is stated separately on the relevant product page and/or in the warranty certificate.
For products for which a warranty certificate must be issued, the warranty certificate is provided to the consumer on paper or via a durable medium in accordance with the relevant legislation. If the consumer requests it, the warranty certificate must be provided on paper.
Warranty Coverage
If it is determined during the warranty period that the product has a defect or fault caused by materials, manufacturing or workmanship, the consumer's optional rights under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection are reserved.
In the case of defective goods, the consumer may, within the framework of the conditions set out in the legislation, exercise one of the following rights:
- withdrawal from the contract and a refund,
- a reduction in the sale price in proportion to the defect,
- free repair,
- where possible, replacement of the product with a non-defective equivalent.
The seller is obliged to fulfill the request chosen by the consumer in accordance with the law. If free repair or replacement would cause disproportionate difficulty for the seller, the other optional rights provided for in the Law apply.
For free repairs under warranty, no fee is charged to the consumer for labor, parts, transport, shipping or similar items.
Cases Not Covered by the Warranty
If it is determined that the fault in the product was caused by the user, the fault may not be covered by the warranty.
Examples of cases that may be considered outside the warranty coverage include:
- use contrary to the user manual or the product's technical requirements,
- unsuitable electrical installation, incorrect voltage or faulty connection,
- intervention, alteration or modification by unauthorized persons,
- impact, breakage, contact with liquids or physical damage caused by the user,
- damage caused by external factors such as lightning, overvoltage, fire, flood and the like,
- use of the product beyond its technical limits or contrary to the manufacturer's instructions.
Whether a fault is covered by the warranty is determined after the product has been examined and the cause of the fault identified.
Repair Time
If the right to free repair is exercised during the warranty period, the maximum repair time may not exceed the period set for the relevant product group in the After-Sales Services Regulation.
For goods other than passenger cars and certain vehicle groups specified separately in the Regulation, the general maximum repair time is 20 business days. During the warranty period, this period starts on the date the consumer notifies the fault to the authorized service station or the seller.
For repairs carried out outside the warranty period, the maximum repair time starts from the date the product is delivered to the authorized service station.
Consumer Rights After Free Repair
After the consumer has exercised the right to free repair, if:
- the product fails again within the warranty period,
- the maximum repair time is exceeded, or
- it is determined by the authorized service station, the seller, the manufacturer or the importer that the product cannot be repaired,
the consumer may request a refund, a price reduction in proportion to the defect or, where possible, replacement of the product with a non-defective equivalent.
The warranty period of a product replaced under warranty is limited to the remaining warranty period of the originally purchased product.
