Electric Vehicle Charging Converter – 7 kW
Important: When used with a standard household socket, the charging current must be set on the connected charger so that it does not exceed 16 A. Using 7 kW / 32 A requires a socket, circuit and electrical installation rated for 32 A.
The Electric Vehicle Charging Converter – 7 kW is designed to help compatible electric vehicle chargers be used with different electrical connection points.
Suitable for use with 7 kW class chargers, the converter provides a connection conversion between the charger's plug and a suitable electrical connection point. Its compact and portable design means it can easily be kept in the vehicle and used at home, at work, in the garage and when travelling.
This product is not a charger on its own. A compatible portable electric vehicle charger must be used for charging. Actual charging power may vary depending on the converter's connection type, the electrical installation, the charger used and the AC charging capacity supported by the vehicle.

Important note: Standard household sockets are usually limited to 16 A. To use 7 kW / 32 A charging power, a suitable socket, circuit, cable cross-section and electrical installation rated for 32 A must be used. When a standard 16 A household socket is used, the charging current must be set on the connected charger so that it does not exceed 16 A. Using high current on an unsuitable electrical installation may cause overheating of the socket, cables or connection points and create safety risks. We recommend having the electrical installation checked by a qualified electrician before using 32 A.
